Bible Study Links 2021
No one has a corner on
truth's market. With all Bible Study resources, the Christian must be
discerning and separate the truth from non-truth. You figure out which is which by comparing
with the teachings of Jesus Christ. Some times if the Spirit of Christ cannot be seen in a
teaching, then if probably isn’t true.
Proceed with caution.
Portals
for Biblical Studies
You need to dig down into this site before you
appreciate how much is here. You can download full text commentaries and other books on both the Old and New Testament.
There are numerous journal articles and other study helps. Use the menu on the top left to dig down into journals, Old
Testament and New Testament resources, and other helpful information. Some of the information available is from the 19th
and 20th centuries but still good and conservative.
All-in-One
Biblical Resources Search
(The links I had here before came from Dr Mark
Goodacre at Duke University. Since my
previous link The New Testament Gateway had changed, taking you to the Logos
Blog, I checked Dr Goodacre’s Homepage and found this link that is even
better. Wander around on this page and
you’ll see what I mean. On the Site Navigator pull down menu, choose Bible Versions
and Translations and click “Go”. Just
about every Bible Portal I can think of is on this site. Bible Gateway, The Blue Letter Bible, the Net
Bible, and many more). Dr Goodacre’s
Homepage is here
if interested.

Free
Bible Study Software - Logos
I’ve been a Logos user since 2010 so this is the
one I know about. There are other good
packages. The latest version is Logos 9
and you can sign up for it here. Don’t be confused when it talks about
Faith Life account. These are the folks
that bought Logos. Not sure how much
comes with the free version, but I’m pretty sure it will include their monthly
free book deal. Sometimes they offer
some really good commentaries as their free of the month. You can also buy additional books for a
fraction of their original cost.
